The Supporting Healthy Moms and Babies Act would stop private health plans from charging deductibles and copays for prenatal care, labor and delivery, and care in the year after birth. Missouri dropped sales tax on diapers in August 2025. A 2026 bill to do the same for baby wipes, bottles and breast pump supplies passed a Senate committee and went no further.
